The AnandTech Mobile Show, Live from IDF 2013 [video] Updated: Now high-res

Sorry for the late posting on this, I was trying to get a high res copy of the video to push live first but it looks like that's coming a little later. For those of you who want to hear Brian and I talk about Bay Trail, iPhone 5S/5C, Moto X and wearables, here's a 360p version of our very first mobile show.

Ah, these are my favorite conversations at work! Perhaps i need different colleagues.Is it just me or is the sound in the video more high pitch than the podcasts?

I think AnandTech has exceeded the credibility gap that would necessitate a suit and tie. Perhaps it's just me, but anyone outside of a job interview wearing a suit is a red flag for the bullshit patrol. An AnandTech branded polo and khakis (or even jeans) would be more appropriate. Also, the I'd still like an audio version of this published as a PodCast. I consume a lot of information this way, and I don't want to be required to focus on talking heads - or have the additional power consumed on my phone.Anand Lal Shimpi - Friday, September 13, 2013 - link
The suit and tie is actually my fault. When I was growing up I was always told/felt compelled to wear a suit whenever you were going to do anything important. I started the site when I was 14 and felt that being invited places to speak with manufacturers was a pretty important task, so the suit seemed logical. It sort of stuck as a way to represent ourselves as professional, especially in the early days when I was much younger and we didn't have established relationships with companies. As I grew older it sort of stuck as a thing we just always did, and it also helped carry the professional/credible message as we evolved.Every now and then you may catch me slipping without a tie or even in a t-shirt and jeans, but I still feel like I owe respect to those who invite me places and choose to show it in part by donning the suit and tie.

Stick with the suits at the venues where they are appropriate. You know what you're doing and it works. Respect is universally understood. And where it isn't, it should be.Also, I've found it occasionally useful to temporarily remove the jacket to strike a different tone, so if it is really that bothersome to the home crowd on video, then that might be a possibility. But, it wouldn’t be my first choice, just a tool to use when it really matters to need to tone down formality.
The message is what counts, and you guys were fascinating.
