Ooh.. MSI finally releasing godlike series for AM4. Yep I'll be scooping up one of those! Likely have to stick with my 2700x for now but that's fine..

Memory is 3200 mhz, you can add that to those tables.

Is it just me or shouldn't there be a derogatory remark/post by HStewart by now? I am disappoint!

He's probably to stunned to comment right now.. I don't know about you but this is the first time in years I've been actually excited about cpu/mb news. Amd just spanked Intel hardcore in the announcement arena. Plus .. considering the major participation by partners It's very likely the rumors are true on performance.

Very excited as well. For the past 6 months or so I've been holding on to the thought of building a new rig based around the Ryzen 3000 series to replace my ageing Xeon E3-1245v2. Seems I can make that happen soonish. :-)

I was just thinking that lol

azrael he's probably trying to figure out how he can spin, bend and twist this to make intel smell like roses, when, at the moment.. they smell like fertilizer :-)

Weird pricing yet again, reminds me on 1st gen. The 3600 and 3700X are both better than the 3800X and 3600X in terms of price/performance, plus they have better efficiency.

The 3700X seems to be the chip to buy this generation. Enough everything and quite cheap for what it offers.

Exactly what I think. I think I am finally upgrading my good old old 2500x at 4.8Ghz...

Holding out on the 16 core to offload the 12 core CPUs that is a bunch of happy horsesh*t. I told myself the second they released these new Ryzens I'd grab the top tiered 16 core I'd been hearing about to use as a workstation build. Now by the time it comes out, my hype over this will be dead and they'd have lost a sale. I wonder how many others will wait or just forego this lineup.
